Everything Qari ships inside the app came from somewhere. This is the list, with the licence each part ships under.
Almost nothing in Qari was made by us. The text, the translations, the call to prayer and the recitations were all given away by people who did not have to. This page is the list, and it is also the thank-you.
The Uthmani text and both English translations come from Tanzil, unmodified. Tanzil permits verbatim copies with attribution and a link back, and forbids changing the text. Qari changes nothing: the only structural difference is that each surah's opening basmala is stored in its own field, which is where the mushaf itself puts it.

Every recitation you hear belongs to the qāriʾ who gave it and to whoever recorded it. Qari claims no right in any of it and owns none of it. It is streamed from EveryAyah, who host it so that apps like this one can exist; the app stores none of it and distributes none of it.
